Fayemi’s wife advises against self medication

The wife of Ekiti State governor, Bisi Fayemi, has advised Ekiti residents to always seek for medical advice at government registered hospitals and shun of self medication.

She gave the advise on Tuesday during her visit to Ekiti Free Health Mission 2019, which is supported by the Development Support Initiative (DSI) at Ise/Orun-Ekiti.

Mrs Fayemi said she was impressed with the large turn out of Ise/Orun -Ekiti and Ogbese -Ekiti residents at the free health mission, organised by the state government.

Mrs Fayemi advised the residents and indigenes of Ise /Orun to take advantage of the free health, which includes free eye services, genotype check, dental services, family planning, and other general medical services.

The governor’s wife used the medium to canvass for the support of the indigenes to vote for all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the forth coming election, especially at the Federal level, so that the free health services would continue.

The Arinjale of Ise-Ekiti, Oba Ajayi Adetunji, appreciated the state governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, for organising the free health services for the people of Ise -Ekiti, describing it as a giant stride.

He appealed to the state governor, to continue in the trend of putting smiles on the faces of Ekiti people, urging him to continue with the free Health services throughout his tenure.

The Oba assured Mrs Fayemi of the continuous support of the people in his domain, saying that all Ise Ekiti indigenes were in support of his administration.
