Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, on Friday sacked the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Lagos State Development and Property Corporation, Taofeek Oki, and three principal officers of the corporation with immediate effect.

The governor also approved the appointment of Jacob Agosu as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the corporation.

Ambode also approved the immediate re-organisation of the LSDPC to stem the tide of negative capital returns in the corporation, according to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Habib Aruna.

“Consequently, Mr Taofeek Oki, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer and three principal officers of LSPDC have been relieved of their appointment,” he said.

Prior to his new appointment, Agosu was the Deputy General Manager (Joint Ventures) in the Corporation and a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers and the Nigeria Institute of Structural Engineers.

He joined the services of the LSDPC in March 1984.
