Wema Registrars Limited has said that it has changed its name to CITADEL Registrars Limited with effect from July 21, 2014.
Wema Registrars Limited (now Citadel Registrars Limited) was incorporated in March 2002 as a full fledged subsidiary of Wema Bank Plc, with the approval of the Corporate Affairs Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
It was the second Registrars Company to be registered in 1988.
The company was also founding member of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR), and has some of its clients to include Wema Bank Plc, Eterna Oil & Gas, Nigeria Wire & Cable,, University Press, Great Nigeria Insurance, Anthonio Oil Plc among others.
