The Secretary to the Federal Government, Babachir Lawal, will on Thursday inaugurate the new Governor’s Lodge in Ebonyi State.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Emma Anya, on Tuesday, said that Lawal would also inspect the CBN Road in the centenary city.
According to him, the SGF will also inaugurate roads and street lights projects in the capital city constructed by the Umahi administration.
The state Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Sen. Emmanuel Onwe, also confirmed the planned visit of the SGF when members of the state Correspondent Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists paid him a courtesy call in his office.
He said that Gov. Dave Umahi had embarked on numerous development strides within the short period in office in spite of the fact that the state was receiving the lowest federal allocation.
The commissioner said that the governor needed encouragement in his effort to develop the state and called for support of the people.
