The Nigerian Army says its troops have successfully repelled the Boko Haram terrorists’ attempted incursion into 113 Battalion at Kareto Northern Borno State.
The terrorists had on Monday morning, made a daring on the troops location at Kareto, northern Borno State, leading to heavy exchange of artilleries, which according to the army, has led to the killing of quite a number of the terrorists.
A statement by Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman, acting Director Army Public Relations late on Monday night said that the “situation has since been brought under control and reinforcement sent.
“So far our troops had two officers and 22 soldiers wounded in action. All of them have been evacuated to Military Hospital Maiduguri where they are receiving treatment.
