Access Bank launches Corporate Internet Banking Solution

Access Bank has introduced the first Corporate Internet Banking Solution with a variety of features optimised to address the traditional payment and cash management requirements of large corporate and other categories of businesses.

The product named Primus, according to a statement signed by Access Bank’s head of Public Affairs, Olusegun Fafore, was developed to address the complexity of daily business operations through effective management of payments, receivables, liquidity and supply chain.

Access Bank says that its Primus is an intelligent banking solution with interactive capacity to help businesses forecast cash flow, optimise trade services, management investment and support their internal reporting and reconciliation processes.

“The revolutionary internet corporate banking solution is specifically designed to enhance business efficiency by simplifying the complex dynamics of daily operations of businesses and their relationship with value chains.=,” it said.

Addressing a broad audience of Chief Executive Officers and Financial Officers at the product launch, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, Access Bank Group Managing Director, said that Primus is one of the 200 industry defining initiatives scheduled for implementation by the bank in the coming months.

He said that introduction of Primus is Access Bank’s response to the growing need for an intelligent banking solution that supports the daily activities and operational success of businesses in Nigeria.

Access Bank’s CEO-Designate, Herbert Wigwe said that with the launch of Primus, “large corporates, oriental businesses and other categories of businesses involved in the complex dynamics of daily business operations will have a superlative experience in managing their daily activities with the introduction of our corporate internet banking solution”.

He added that “the corporate internet banking solution is not just a secure multi-transaction management platform that removes the complexities around daily financial management of multinationals and large corporations but also facilitates easy transaction with suppliers and distributors as well as employees in the value chain by simplifying the processes involved in executing payment, managing receivables and treasury services in the daily dealings of organisations.”

Wigwe said that “Primus, the corporate internet banking solution by Access Bank, is a 21st century-game changer that offers its users all the convenience, security and flexibility in cash management and payment with just a click of button”.
