The Publicity Secretary, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa, Umar Jada, has resigned his position.
The letter which did not give reason for the resignation.was contained in a letter dated Dec. 30 and addressed to the state chairman of the party.
“I, Umar Bello Jada, humbly write to formally inform you that I have resigned from my position as the State Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adamawa chapter.
“I very much thank you and the party for giving me the rare opportunity to serve in that capacity. Thanks in anticipation of your kind acceptance”, the letter stated.
When contacted, the state Secretary of the party, Tahir Shehu, confirmed the development, describing it as “something normal”.
