Adetogun join race to succeeds Oba Sijuwade as Ooni of Ife

Prince (Engr) Adewuyi Adetogun from Gbanlare Ruling House of Ogboru Royal Family has joined the race to occupy the stool of Ooni of Ife.

According to the Head of Ooni-Ilare Royal House Prince Adekoyejo Lawrence, Gbanlare the then Ooni ruled between 1800 and 1823 after which the ruling house had been left behind in the choice of Ooni.

Prince Adewuyi Adetogun a professional Engineer is the Chief Executive of SOW-YAB, a construction company based in Abuja.

He is believed to be a resourceful and an astute believer in the culture and tradition of Ife.

Prince Adekoyejo while presenting Prince Adewuyi Adetogun went further to state that justice, equity and fair play strongly supports that the right of every ruling house should also be guaranteed since the demand or request is neither a traversity against the rule of natural justice and the fundamental human rights nor is it a violation of the cherished custom and tradition of Ife people.
