A Bristow Helicopter with registration No. 5NBJQ, has crashed into the Atlantic Ocean around Lagos.
The helicopter is believed to be carrying 13 people on board as at the time of the accident and was coming from Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers state.
The search and rescue team are at the scene of the crash.
It would be recalled that a Bristow helicopter crashed on 12 August, 2015 in the Oworonsoki end of the Lagos lagoon.
An official of the company who confirmed the incident in Lagos but declined to give further details, said the company was still collating details of the incident and would make same public at the end of the exercise.
