A member representing Katsina central in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Shelk Umar is dead.
Hon. Umar who recently won an election for a second term of four years in office under the platform of the All Progressives Congress Party. APC, in the just concluded polls died of heart related diseases.
Saudaki Abubaker, an elder brother, who confirmed the development told newsmen that the late legislator passed on at the early hours of Tuesday and has sinced been buried according to Islamic rites.
The State Deputy Governor, Mannir Yakubu who was amongst the early callers at the residence of the family described the deceased as a honest, devoted gentle man whose death would be greatly missed by both members of his family and Nigeria in general.
He prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest and members of his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.
