In a move aimed at shoring up support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Ogun State, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, the immediate past Governor of the state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has rallied the support of all past office holders from 2003 to 2011.

Addressing past office holders numbering more than 400 in his Asoludero Shagamu country home, Sagamu, Ogun State, Daniel directed and urged the people to not only vote for the PDP candidate, but also use their connections to canvass for votes for Isiaka saying that he is the best that can take Ogun State out of the economic mismanagement and misrule the current occupier of the office has plunged the state into in the last four years.

“Isiaka’s emergence is a clarion call from people of Ogun State having realized the error made some four years back and all hands must be on deck to stop this further drift ” he said.

Reacting, Isiaka said he feels so much at home being once again with his colleagues some of whom he has known for the past 12 years adding that the mandate is not only for him but for his generations, ‘therefore all must strive to ensure that power returns to the people’

While pleading for understanding of his colleagues especially for the lateness of the meeting, the governorship hopeful promised to run an all- inclusive government that is people centered while at the same time completes all ongoing projects embarked upon by the present government.

He assured the people of Ogun State that his administration will focus on people; revisit the unjust demolition of houses without compensation and make sure owners are duly compensated, while ensuring prudent management of the state’s resources.
