EFCC to arraign a Jos-based Reverend for N40.2m scam

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, will tomorrow Thursday November 21, 2013 arraign one Reverend David Kim Pam, Chairman Goodliving Multi Purpose Cooperative Society at the Plateau State High Court, Jos on a 10-count charge that borders on stealing, fraudulent misappropriation and criminal breach of trust.

The suspect, according to a statement by Wilson Uwujiaren, EFCC head of media, allegedly abused his position as Chairman and sole signatory to the accounts of Goodliving Multi Purpose Co-Operative Society’s domiciled in First Bank Nigeria Plc and Zenith Bank, to steal N40,276,660 between April and June 2012.

The offences, according to the statement, are contrary to sections 286, 308 and 311 of the Criminal Code law of Plateau State.
