The Oluomo of Ife and former Chairman Ife East Local Council, State of Osun, Chief Gbenga Owolabi has congratulated Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi on his emergence as the Ooni-elect.
Oluomo Owolabi expressed his delight at the choice of the new Ooni-elect by Ife kingmakers while speaking with journalists at Ile-Ife.
He charged the new Oba to bring his vibrancy of youth, wide contacts and wealth of business experience to bear in the development of Ile-Ife and the State of Osun.
Oluomo Owolabi implored Prince Adeyeye Ogunwusi to work assiduously towards the enhancement and sustenance of the globally- acclaimed rich cultural heritage of the Yorubas as a means of uniting the race for peace and progress.
He prayed that God will give the new monarch sound health, long life and the wisdom to administer Ile-Ife and the Yoruba nation as the Arole Oodua.
Oluomo called on all sons and daughters of Ile-Ife and the entire Yoruba nation to rally round the nwe Ooni to make his task of ushering in a new era of peace, progress and sustainable development in Ile-Ife, State of Osun and Nigeria in general.
