The Federal Government has appointed Bayo Onanuga, Publisher of The News Magazine an PMNews as the Managing Director, News Agency of Nigeria, NAN.
The appointments which were announced in Abuja on Wednesday by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, also included that of five other Chief Executives of information-related parastatals under the Ministry of Information and Culture.
Ishaq Modibo Kawu was appointed Director-General, Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, NBC, Mansur Liman – Director-General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN and Yakubu Mohammed – Director-General, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
Others include Dr. Garba Abari, as Director-General, National Orientation Agency (NOA) and Osita Okechukwu – Director-General, Voice of Nigeria (VON)
The new appointees take immediate effect, replace the Chief Executives of the parastatals who were disengaged on Feb. 15th 2016.
