Five more missing soldiers found

Nigerian soldiers are fighting Boko Haram militants in north-east Nigeria.

Five more officers and soldiers that were declared missing after an ambush by the Boko Haram insurgents at Guro Gongon on July 20 including the unit’s Commanding Officer have been found.

A statement by Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director Army Public Relations, said the affected officers were found after concerted efforts initiated to search for and rescue them which included the use of air assets, Special Forces and patrols.

Although they are in a stable condition, have been moved to our Medical facilities for medical care.
