Johnson said the company’s product is wholly 100 per cent plantain and produced in an hygienic environment. He said plantain flour is calorie-dense, with a 150g serving providing 437 calories.

This amount of calories, according to him, makes up nearly 22 per cent of the daily suggested intake of 2,000 calories the human body needs.
It is also low in fat, with just 0.3g of fat in a 150g serving.
The normal all-purpose flour contains 2.6g of fat in the same-size serving.

Plantain flour is also rich in carbohydrates. A 150g serving of this flour contains 105g of carbohydrate, with 4g of fiber and 8g of sugar.

According to available information online, dietary fiber helps humans feel full and promotes healthy digestion.

MayoClinic.com suggests that men eat 38g of fiber daily and women 25g.
Johnson equally revealed that there is opportunity for sales persons nationwide who want to distribute the product.
