Max Air Ltd is to airlift a total of 35,576 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2015 Hajj..

According to the airline’s Public Relations Manager, Ibrahim Dahiru, the pilgrims would be transported to the Holy land from 15 states.

According to him, the Airline has already deployed four of its Boeing 747 aircraft to some of the Airports designated for the exercise.

“We have mobilized four Boeing 747 aircraft and personnel needed for the Hajj operation.

“The airline has made adequate arrangement for the success of the entire Hajj operation within the country and in the Holy land,” he said.

He, however, urged the state Pilgrims Welfare Boards to give the Airline the necessary support and cooperation to ensure the success of the operation.

The airline’s spokesman expressed optimism that the operation would be a success in view of the adequate and early preparations made by all stakeholders.

Dahiru disclosed that the Airline had since made its first flight on Sunday, with 497 pilgrims from Zamfara, who were airlifted to Saudi Arabia from the Sultan Abubakar III International Airport, Sokoto.
