The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical and Development Committee will meet on Tuesday, February 10 in Abuja to discuss issues relating to the future of the Super Eagles’ technical crew among others pertinent issues.
The Vice Chairman of the NFF’s Technical and Development Committee, Ahmed Yusuf Fresh told Goal that the committee has a lot of issues to address but the most pressing of them is the fate of the senior national team handler.
Yusuf hinted that the NFF does not want to join issues with anybody concerning the future of the technical crew headed by Stephen Keshi whose contract expired at the end of the 2014 Fifa World Cup Brazil.
“We are going to be having a meeting of the technical committee on Tuesday on February 10 and many far reaching decisions will be taken regarding the future of the country’s football. We will talk about the contract renewal of Stephen Keshi and that of his assistants among other things.”
He also said the committee will take a cursory look at the issue and take a firm stand on it insisting that the body will not be intimidated to make hasty pronouncement which could put the future of the country’s senior national team in jeopardy.
