The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has commiserated with French oil giant, Total, over the death of its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Christophe de Margerie.
In a condolence letter to the Managing Director of Total Exploration & Production Nigeria, the Management of the Corporation stated that it was saddened by the circumstance of the death of the Total boss whom it described as a “quintessential manager and leader in the global oil and gas industry”.
NNPC assured Total Exploration & Production of its support through the trying period while praying God to grant the Total family worldwide the fortitude to bear the loss.
