There was tension in Anambra State, following the self-isolation of Governor Willie Obiano in the state.
Briefing reporters at the Government House in Awka, on Monday, the Secretary to the Government, Prof Solo Chukwulobelu and the Chief of Staff, Chief Primus Odili, said Obiano had been on isolation for the past 11 days.
The duo said the Governor decided to isolate himself having sat next to the Bauchi State Governor during the last National Executive Council meeting.
However, they said there was no cause for alarm as the Governor had been asymptomatic since then, adding however that though the governor has not shown any sign of the illness, “he is hale and hearty.”
