Prince Charles tests positive for coronavirus

Clarence House, royal residence in London, says Prince Charles of Wales has tested positive for coronavirus.

The BBC quoted a spokesman of the royal residence as saying that the he is in good health despite showing mild symptoms.

The spokesman said it is not possible to ascertain from whom the prince might have caught the virus.

Camilla, duchess of Cornwall and wife of the prince, is said to have tested negative for the disease.

”The both of them are isolating in Balmoral in Scotland”, the spokesman said.

According to Worldometer, the UK has recorded 8,077 COVID-19 cases and 422 deaths.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has since restricted to two the number of people that can be seen at a time in public spaces.
