{"id":106069,"date":"2019-07-18T22:14:55","date_gmt":"2019-07-18T21:14:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newmail-ng.com\/?p=106069"},"modified":"2019-07-18T22:14:55","modified_gmt":"2019-07-18T21:14:55","slug":"apc-expels-north-west-national-vice-chairman-inuwa-abdulkadir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newmail-ng.com\/apc-expels-north-west-national-vice-chairman-inuwa-abdulkadir\/","title":{"rendered":"APC expels North West National Vice Chairman, Inuwa Abdulkadir"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says it has upheld the expulsion of the party\u2019s National Vice Chairman (North West), Malam Inuwa Abdulkadir over anti-party activities by the party organs in Sokoto State.<\/p>\n<p>The ruling party said this in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu in Abuja on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe NWC of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has upheld the disciplinary actions of Magajin Gari \u201cA\u201d Ward, Sokoto North Local Government, and the Party\u2019s Sokoto State Executive Committee on the Party\u2019s National Vice Chairman (North West), Malam Inuwa Abdulkadir over anti-party activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe party organs in Sokoto State have earlier expelled Abdulkadir and passed on their recommendation to the NWC for ratification.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decision to uphold the action of the Sokoto APC organs was taken at a meeting of the NWC held at the party\u2019s national secretariat on Thursday,\u201d the party spokesman said in the statement.<\/p>\n<p>He added that Abdulkadir failed to utilise the opportunity to defend himself before the disciplinary committee set up by the NWC to look into the various petitions received against certain members of the party.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFollowing the suspension of Abdulkadir, the NWC will subsequently forward the decision of the Sokoto State organs to the Party\u2019s National Executive Committee (NEC) for further actions,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says it has upheld the expulsion of the party\u2019s National Vice Chairman (North West), Malam Inuwa Abdulkadir over anti-party activities by the party organs in Sokoto State.
