Retired General Muhammadu Buhari has unofficially won the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential ticket with 3, 430 votes to beat his closest rival, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to a distant third position.<\/p>\n

Atiku, at the party’s 3rd National Convention currently holding in Lagos polled 954 votes.<\/p>\n

Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso defeated Atiku by 20 votes, scoring 974 votes while the publisher of a Leadership newspaper, Sam Ndah Isaiah polled 10 votes.<\/p>\n

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State polled 624 while only 16 votes were recorded as void.<\/p>\n
