First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Nigeria\u2019s most valuable bank brand has thrown its weight behind the development of talent across the entire value chain in the entertainment industry at the Third edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference. <\/p>\n

This sponsorship, according to a statement, is in line with the bank’s initiatives to drive perception change, grow brand affinity among the youth and the upwardly mobile segment with great support for capacity building in the creative and performing arts industry. <\/p>\n

This year\u2019s edition with the theme \u201cBuying and Selling Nigerian Entertainment… and everything in-between\u201d is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2014, at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.<\/p>\n

The conference will attract sensational leaders and members of the entertainment industry in Nigeria to a learning and development session where Nigerian artistes and stakeholders will be exposed to leading practices in the industry in partnership with corporate organisations. <\/p>\n

In addition, the conference will study, acknowledge and adapt global trado-digital business practices to promote industry\u2019s growth for a more profitable economy\u2019 establish new thinking and discuss thought provoking issues that will resonate within the entertainment industry. <\/p>\n

According to the GMD\/CEO, FirstBank, Bisi Onasanya, FirstBank\u2019s sponsorship of the conference accentuates the Bank\u2019s, and indeed, the FBNHoldings Group\u2019s position to drive enterprise in the Nigerian economy and promote the development of a creative and performing arts industry. <\/p>\n

The sponsorship is part of the Bank\u2019s intervention programme in the arts under the auspices of its First@arts platform.<\/p>\n
