{"id":54874,"date":"2016-12-03T06:34:47","date_gmt":"2016-12-03T05:34:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newmail-ng.com\/?p=54874"},"modified":"2016-12-03T06:34:47","modified_gmt":"2016-12-03T05:34:47","slug":"senate-committed-to-early-completion-of-efcc-hq-utazi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newmail-ng.com\/senate-committed-to-early-completion-of-efcc-hq-utazi\/","title":{"rendered":"Senate committed to early completion of EFCC HQ &#8211; Utazi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Chairman Senate Committee on Financial crimes and Anti Corruption, Senator Chukwuma Utazi has assured the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC of the Senate\u2019s support to ensure release of appropriated funds by the Federal Ministry of Finance toward the completion of the Commission\u2019s head office complex.<\/p>\n<p>Utazi who stated this on Thursday while inspecting the project, expressed satisfaction with the quality of work so far done. \u201cThe quality of work done by Julius Berger is impressive,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to  Utazi, \u201cfrom the information we have gotten, N5 billion has been released, and we will ask the ministry of finance and budget office to ensure that the outstanding N2 billion that they are holding be released to the contractors so that they can push this job.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want that money released, so that before we start looking at 2017 budget we will have been done with the 2016 budget.
