The Lagos State Government on Monday announced that the Military Pensions Verification Exercise for Year 2017 which commenced nationwide from Sunday, 26 November will end on Saturday, 9 December, 2017.
A statement from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, (SSG), Tunji Bello informed that the venues for the Lagos Centre are Ikeja Military Cantonment, Bonny Cantonment and Ojo Military Cantonment.
The statement urged indigenes of the state who are affected to take advantage of the verification exercise period to update their records and also assist the Military in improving on the integrity of the Military Pension’s database.
The Military Pensions Verification exercise is conducted by the Ministry of Defence in the 36 States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory to re-appraise the effectiveness of Military Pensions administration towards making improvements.
