A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC and former Senator representing Ogun West in the 6th National Assembly, Iyabo Anisulowo has been kidnapped.
Senator Anisulowo was reportedly kidnapped Wednesday evening along with her security detail along Igbogila road, in Yewa North Local Government area of the state.
Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Odejobi who confirmed the report on Wednesday night, said that the state Police commissioner, Abdulmajid Alli had despatched crack detectives to the Ilaro area dater the rescue operation.
The Police PRO assured the public, particularly Anisulawo’s relations and those concerned that the police will rescue her unhurt soon and perpetrators will be apprehended.
