Ibinabo Fiberesima, the incumbent President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has been re-elected for a second term.
She emerged unopposed on Thursday at a special convention by delegates in Abuja and was immediately sworn in along with other officials of the guild.
She promised to justify the confidence reposed on her, saying “my victory did not come as a surprise because of my numerous contributions to the AGN.”
Ibinabo, who is a mother of five, was a former Senior Special Adviser to the president and was also a former beauty queen, actress and producer.
She is the President and National Director, Miss Earth Nigeria Beauty Pageant.
