President Goodluck Jonathan has begun closed door meeting with Awujale and paramount ruler of Ijebuland , Oba Dr. Sikiru Kayode Adetona in his palace in Ijebu-Ode.
The President who arrived at 11:15 was received by, governor of Ondo state, Dr. Segun Mimiko, former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Chairman Mobilisation and Organisation committee of the People’s Democratic Party in the South West, Prince, Buruji Kashamu, the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Gboyega Isiaka among other leader of the party.
The President was accompanied by governor of Bayelsa state, Seriake Dickson was ushered into one of the private rooms of the monarch and began the secret meeting.
Many journalists were barred from entering the premises of the palace while few ones that entered were barred from covering the meeting which was described as private meeting.
