Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State on Wednesday signed the Bill Establishing the State Investment Promotion Agency into law.
Ganduje said law would promote and fast- track the industrialisation of the state.
“The agency will make it easy for potential local, national and international investors to do business in the state’’, he said.
He said the agency was a demonstration of the commitment of the state government to attract investors to the state.
The governor also signed the Fostering Bill into law.
He said that the law would encourage people in the state to adopt foster children who were abandoned by their parents.
Ganduje said the law will also help the adopted children to be morally sound and disciplined.
