Sanwo-Olu appoints six new special advisers

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Monday, appointed six new “non-cabinet” Special Advisers to serve in various capacities across ministries in the state.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced by the Secretary to the State Government, Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, in a statement on Monday.

The new appointees are Dr Iyabo Ayoola, who has been appointed as Special Adviser, Central Internal Audit; Olalekan Balogun – Special Adviser, Economic Planning & Budget; and Akinyemi Ajigbotafe – Special Adviser, Community Development.

Others are Very Rev. Bukola Adebiyi – Special Adviser, Christian Religion; Dr Abdullahi Jebe – Special Adviser, Muslim Religion; and Ismail Odesanya – Special Adviser, DAWN Commission & South-West Integration.

“The SSG extended her congratulations to the appointees and encouraged them to align their contributions with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s vision for a Greater Lagos.

“The appointment takes immediate effect,” the statement said.
