Arsenal’s Spanish right-back Hector Bellerin has reached an agreement to rejoin Barcelona, reports across Europe said on Wednesday.

The Spaniard was said to be planning talks with Gunners manager Arsene Wenger to discuss his departure, and it is expected to take place in the next 10 days.

Though the 22-year-old has agreed personal terms with the Blaugranas, the club still need to agree on a transfer fee with Arsenal for the defender. Analysts expect the Spaniard to cost Barcelona at least £45m.

Bellerin left the Camp Nou for the Emirates in 2011 and has since established himself as the Gunners first choice at right back.

His current contract ends in 2023, but Arsenal’s failure to secure a UEFA Champions League place makes a return to La Liga appealing to the youngster.
