Asemota replaces Nyiam in Dialogue Committee


President Goodluck Jonathan, has appointed Solomon Asemota, SAN, as Member of the Advisory Committee on National Dialogue.

Asemota replaces Col. Tony Nyiam (Rtd) who resigned from the committee on Nov. 3 following a confrontation with Gov. Adams Oshiomhole of Edo, during the committee’s town hall meeting in the state.

According to a statement by the Special Assistant, Media to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim, Asemota is to resume with the Committee with effect today, November 6., 2013.
