Boko Haram terrorists have killed a man and abducted six women at Sabongari town in Madagali Local Government area of Adamawa State.

A resident, simply identified as Musa said the insurgents arrived the village at about 10 pm and shot several people, killing one and injuring many.
Confirming the incident, the Chairman of Madagali Local Government area, Maina Ularamu called on government to provide more security in the area.
The military said the towns Adamawa state which were captured by Boko had been cleared before the 2015 general election.
Some residents had been encouraged to return home after the military operations. But the latest report may serve as another spanner in the works. And perhaps further wake up call on the military and incoming administration.
A similar report of the insurgents’ recapture of Marte in Borno state was last week down played by the military.
Defence authorities said the terrorists who may have been sighted at Marte were likely to be those fleeing from bombardment by the military of Boko Haram camps in Sambisa forest.
On Sunday, the Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters said special forces had killed unconfirmed number of terrorists while 10 more Boko Haram camps at Sambisa forest had fallen.
