Reports just reaching us indicate that dare-devil armed bandits have unleashed mayhem on the residents of the 7th Avenue, FESTAC Town in Lagos.
Though details of the attack still remains sketchy as at the time of this report, sources close to the scene told our correspondent that the incident started Monday night and continued into the wee-hours of Tuesday, resulting in sporadic exchange of gun shots between the bandits and the security agencies.
However, another source hinted that the incident was not a robbery but a fierce encounter between the notorious gang of pipeline vandals and men of the Operation MESA and the police.
