Fresh report just reaching New Mail from Rivers State indicate that sporadic gun shot is currently going on in Obrikom in Ogba Egbemi Ndoni Local Government area of Rivers State.
Already, seven All Progressives Congress, APC, supporters have been shot dead, including chief Adube, a traditional ruler and APC chieftain and two of his sons.
Obrikom houses major oil and gas installations in Rivers State.
As at press time, multiple sources indicate that the gunmen after the Obrikom attack, have proceeded to Oboh, a neighbouring community where Vincent Ogbuagu, the APC House of Assembly candidate comes from.
Ogbuagu used to work for Felix Obuah, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State.
