The General Overseer, Hour of Mercy Prayer Ministry, Prophet Muyideen Kasali, has said that Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, should not be carried away by the expiration of the Fourth Assembly, who was bent on impeaching him.

The cleric who spoke in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday during a special programme organised by his church in Ekiti, said the governor needed to be more prayerful to avert further crisis because there were still challenges ahead for him.

He also praised President Muhammadu Buhari, for ordering the relocation of the Military Command of the Nigeria Army to Maiduguri, to deal with Boko Haram insurgency.

According to him, that would help in stemming the tides of killing and displacement of Nigerians from their homes in the North Eastern part of the country.

“I want to urge Governor Fayose to continue seeking the face of God in a new dimension. He shouldn’t relax yet because the battle isn’t yet over.

“He must, with all humility and repentance, seek God’s face for him to conquer the enemies outside and within. He needs a divine intervention and serious prayers.”

The Cleric added that “The relocation of the operational services of the Nigeria Army will fast-track action on how to rout Boko Haram because it has become a problem to our nation.

“No President will treat insurgency that had led to the killing of over 30,000 Nigerians and rendered about three million homeless with levity and the President had really shown that he is sincere with his electioneering campaign to make Nigeria safe for all citizens.

“Apart from the wanton killings and destruction, Boko Haram has destroyed property worth several billions of naira in Nigeria across ethnic and religious lines.

“Our nation is being confronted with too many socio-economic and political problems at this time to be witnessing all this. Enough of these senseless killings and this relocation will make Nigeria Army to be aware that the fight is a full war and should not be taken as a part time struggle,” the cleric said.
