Eid-il-Kabir: Senate chief Whip urges Muslims to pray for country’s peace

The Senate chief Whip, Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo has advocated the need for Muslims to use the period of Eid Kabir to pray for the restoration of peace in the country.

Senator Gwarzo who maintained that Eid-il-Kabir was not for merry making but a period for sober reflection, said with God, all things are possible.

In a press statement signed by his media assistant, Ibrahim Garba, the Senate Chief Whip called on Nigerians, particularly Muslims, to use the period to pray for peace and development.

Gwrzo who is representing Kano North Senatorial District urged the people to remain resolute in addressing challenges facing the country.

He also appealed to people in the state to revalidate thier voters cards in the coming revalidation exercise in the state.
