FG grants exclusive right to NAEBI Dynamic to collect helicopter landing fees

The federal government says it has granted exclusive rights to Messrs NAEBI Dynamic Concepts Limited, an aviation consulting firm, to collect helicopter landing levies across the country.

In a letter dated April 25, Festus Keyamo, minister of aviation and aerospace development, said the levy will be collected at all aerodromes, helipads, airstrips, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units, floating storage and offloading (FSO) units, and oil platforms.

The minister urged stakeholders to comply with the mandate or face sanctions.

“The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Ministry of Aviation has granted exclusive rights to Messrs NAEBI Dynamic Concepts Limited to collect Helicopter Landing Levy at all Aerodromes, Helipads, Air Strips, FSPOS, FSOs, Oil Rig Platforms in Nigeria,” Keyamo said.

“It is imperative that all operators and stakeholders fully comply with this mandate, by granting total access to Messrs NAEBI Dynamic Concepts Limited for the collection of this levy, effective immediately.

“Non-compliance with this directive will constitute a breach of this mandate and will be met with appropriate sanction.

“The Ministry will enforce compliance without exception and will pursue all available remedies against any party that fails to adhere to this directive.”

The ministry of aviation said it will be monitoring adherence to the mandate closely, pledging to take swift action against any infractions.
