Five arraigned for stealing N10m at Rivers factory

On Wednesday, five suspects were arraigned before a Chief Magistrate Court in Rivers State for stealing properties worth about N10 million at the Rivers State Syringe factory in Rumousi, Obio/Apor Local Government Area of the state.

The suspects were arraigned at the Magistrate Court in Choba before Chief Magistrate, Israel Agbesor.

They are Kaffas Joseph, Abdullahi Samaila, Auwal Ahmed, Ifeanyi Nnachilealu and Chidindu Ugoji.

The suspects are facing four charges after they were arrested by the Choba Police Division on October 12, 2022.

The presiding Chief Magistrate, Israel Agbesor, shortly after their arraignment adjourned to November 29, 2022, to enable the five suspects to take their plea.

Our correspondent reports that the items recovered from the suspects include a machine engine, iron table, water heater and flammable liquid all worth about N10 million.
