Four persons were feared dead after a bomb explosion at a community radio, TAO FM, in Kogi Central senatorial zone at about 8.pm on Monday.

No group has claimed responsibility for the bombing of the station located at the centre of Okene town.

Although the number of casualties were yet to be ascertained but unofficial source said four persons were feared dead with many injured.

The source also said the attack may not be unconnected with its handline on some politicians; especially those who have received verbal attack from the radio station over their role in the Saturday House of Assembly re-run election in some part of the senatorial axis.

The State Police Public Relation Officer, Shola Collins said, the police have already been mobilised to the scene of the incident and admit that the attack which affected part of the radio station building, has four persons declared dead while many are still in the hospitals.
