President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday nominated ex-Governor of Kano, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, along with three others for appointment as minister.
Shekarau, who recently defected from the All Progressives Congress, APC, is expected to represent Kano state in the Federal Executive Council.
The other nominees are Abdul Bulama from Yobe State, Adedayo Adeyeye from Ekiti State, and Stephen Oruh from Delta State. Oruh is the National Vice Chairman, South South, of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The Senate announced the nominees during its plenary session on Wednesday and the nominees are to be screened at a later date.
Kwara and Anambra States without substantive ministers were however not included in the list.
