The three officials of the State of Osun Civil Service, Bimpe Ogunlumade, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Tajudeen Badejoko, Director of State Audit and the driver to the Auditor-General(State), Oladapo Ajani Arogundade, have regained their freedom from their abductors.
The three officials who were reportedly kidnapped on Friday between Obajana and Lokoja, the Kogi State capital on their way from Abuja where they attended the briefing on the State and Local Government Reforms Project; a World Bank and European Union Programme.
A statement by Osun State Head of Service, Sunday Olayinka Owoeye, said that arrangements are “being made to convey them to Osogbo within the shortest possible time by security agents with a view to re-uniting them with their families and relations.”
