All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Abubakar Audu, has won the gubernatorial election defeating incumbent Idris Wada in a keenly contested but peaceful election.
After the announcement of results in 21 LGAs by INEC officials, APC polled 247,149 against PDP’s 204,976 with result from one LGA yet to be announced.
INEC is however yet to official name Audu winner.
