Kwankwaso orders free treatment for Kano bomb victims

Gov. Rabi’u Kwankwaso of Kano State has said that the government would pay the medical bills of students of the School of Hygiene injured in bomb attack on Monday.

Kwankwaso, who stated this when he paid sympathy visit to the school in Kano, condemned the bomb attack on innocent students, stressing that “school is the last place to attack by any sensible person.”

He described the incident as an act of criminality meant to kill innocent people without a cause.”

The governor directed the Ministry of Health to monitor the treatment of those on admission at the Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital to ensure their speedy recovery.

Kwankwaso also thanked the security agencies for their prompt action and professionalism, stressing that the state government would continue to work with the security agencies to bring an end to the attacks.

Kwankwaso called on the people to cooperate with the security agencies and pray for peace and stability in the country.

He commiserated with the families of the deceased and prayed for the quick recovery of those injured.
