NACCIMA appoints Dele Odufuye as vice-chairman of digital economy

The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has appointed Dele Odufuye as the vice-chairman of the digital economy, gaming, and sports betting trade group.

This appointment was contained in a letter dated May 9, 2024, from Dele Kelvin Oye, the national president of NACCIMA.

Oye expressed his confidence in Odufuye’s ability to contribute effectively to the operations of the trade group. “We are delighted to welcome Mr. Odufuye to this pivotal role,” he said.

“Given his outstanding achievements and leadership in the field of technology and entrepreneurship, we believe that he brings invaluable expertise and vision to our group.”

Expressing his gratitude, Odufuye said he looks forward to working with fellow members to drive innovation, enhance collaboration, and promote sustainable growth within the sector.

“I am deeply honored by the trust and confidence that Mr. Oye and the board have placed in me. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to collaborate with fellow members to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and create sustainable growth within the digital economy, gaming, and sports betting sectors.”

Odufuye is an award-winning information and technology (IT) professional, serial entrepreneur, and investor.

He currently serves as the managing director of Cavista Holdings, an investment holding company with a global presence and diverse investments across four continents, focusing on sectors like agriculture, hospitality, technology, and financial services.

The company’s subsidiaries include Cavista Technologies, operating in Nigeria, Botswana, the Philippines, India, and the United States.

Others include Agbeyewa Farms, Glocient Limited, and Payzeep.

Odufuye also holds a leadership position at Axxess, a healthcare technology company based in the US.
