The deputy editor, Business, New Telegraph newspapers, Ayodele Aminu narrowly escaped death on Sunday evening when his car, a new model Toyota Corolla was involved in a ghastly accident along the Lagos-Epe Expressway.
An eye witness account told our correspondent that the accident occurred when a commercial vehicle driving on the other side of the road, veered off the road and smashed into the median before running into Aminu’s car.
Aminu was said to be returning from an event organised by the Finance Correspondents Association of Nigeria, FICAN.
Though details of the accident still remains sketchy as at the time of filing this report, NewMailNG however gathered that Aminu was rushed to Lagoon Hospital in Apapa where he’s currently receiving intensive medical attention.
