The crisis-ridden Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, has invited 30 players to camp in preparation for the African Women Championship, AWC, which will be held between October 11 and October 25 in Namibia.
Invited players and coaches are expected to report to the Serob Legacy Hotel (Abuja) camp of the Super Falcons no later than September 14, said a statement signed by Ruth David, the team’s coordinator.
The initiated players are:
Attackers: Desire Oparanozie, Francisca Ordega, Esther Sunday, Uchechi Sunday and Pepetua Nkwocha.
Defenders: Blessing Edoho, Ebere Ngozi, Mariam Ibrahim, Josephine Chukwunonye, Onome Ebi, Osinachi Ohale, Ugochi Njoku, Gloria Ofoegbu and Sarah Nnodim.
Goalkeepers:Ibubeleye Whyte, Precious Dede, Charity John, Juliet Obi and Ohieriaku Christy.
Midfielders: Ngozi Okobi, Onyinyechi Ohadugha, Chiwendu Ihezue, Stella Mbachu, Asisat Oshoala, Cecilia Nku, Evelyn Nwabuoku, Halimat Ayinde, Loveth Ayila, Gloria Iroka and Rosemary Okezie.
The invited players are expected to report to camp with their travel documents.
