Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has described Nigeria as a diversified country that cannot afford to break. Osinbajo stated this Thursday in Calabar during his visit to Cross River State where he performed the ground-breaking ceremony of the Calabar Industrial Park, which he described as one of the best industrial hubs in Africa.

Osinbajo said the industrial park is going to be a major industrial hub in Africa when completed and “I am honoured to be part of the ground-breaking ceremony.”

The Acting President, who commended the Cross River State Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade, for the great initiative, pledged the support of the Federal Government to the construction of the super highway, as it would enhance economic and social development of the state.

“Cross River State is so much an intriguing part of Nigeria and every part needs the other. We are greater together than apart. When people speak of Nigeria, it is because of its diversity. Unity is absolutely important because God wants us to be united.

“The Federal Government was doing everything possible to accommodate every Nigerian. President Muhammadu Buhari’s government will continue to work assiduously for the interest and development of all sections of the country,” the Acting President said.
