The Ondo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Vincent Jack, has reportedly died on Wednesday.
The details of his death was still sketchy as at the time of filing this report, but it was gathered that the late FRSC boss passed away after a brief illness.
When our correspondent visited the command headquarters in Akure on Wednesday, many of the officers declined to comment on the incident, but some, on the condition of anonymity, confirmed that their boss passed away in Lagos early morning on Wednesday.
An officer said, “We were very shocked on hearing the sad news of the death of our oga. He was sick for some weeks, but he had recuperated and returned to the office.
“Even last week, we held a meeting which he presided over and he was hale and hearty. We were surprised to hear the news this morning.”
Another officer said the late FRSC sector commander had a thanksgiving service last week in Lagos after his recuperation from an illness.
